The cartoon works surprisingly well! It made me listen to his voice more, without the 'distraction' of watching him. If you took away the visual spectacle, the dance routines and the personal sob stories, it makes you wonder how many of the other contestants would survive purely on the basis of their voice. I don't want to sound horrible as they can all obviously sing, but can you imagine listening to a Same Difference or a Beverly record?
Oops, can I just add that I do actually like all the contestants left, and hope they get something good out of doing the show, but I just prefer Rhydian.
